A Million Starts
Have a million starts and a hundred meaningful finishes. Contrary to popular belief it’s ok to leave some things undone. In the process of starting sometimes you find yourself and decide to take another path. Starting something is like waking up. You’re waking up to some thing inside of you that is ready for change, ready to create, ready to try something new. Starting is renewal. We should have more starts then finishes because not every endeavor is worthy of a finish. Have a million starts because if you get mixed up in the middle you’re allowed to quit and start again. Who you are when you start something is not who you will be when you finish, you change along the way. You gain knowledge and the process changes you. Even failed attempts have value. The starting, and the not being able to finish, build us. We learn about ourselves. We are acquainted with our weakness. Starting is renewal. We get to have over a million starts in this lifetime, we refine ourselves along the way.
